Blackdown Baroque in Concert

Enjoy wonderful music, wine and local cheeses in the historic yet cosy setting of the beautifully re-furbished church of St Mary’s Willand. Blackdown Baroque return to the locality with an evening of attractive and accessible music, showcasing the works of Handel and Purcell. The quartet of two violins, cello and harpsichord are led by Kentisbeare resident and professional cellist, Hilary Boxer. Andrew Daldorph, conductor of East Devon Choral Society sits at his magnificent eight foot harpsichord. The combination of compelling music and engaging presentation will ensure a relaxed and entertaining evening.
